24 Hours in NYC

I’m back!!!

I was so eager to post new entries the last time I wrote here, and then I couldn’t get around to writing anything for months. But better late than never! So here I am again trying to restart this blog. I’ve noticed that people who manage to keep their blogs updated usually have a fixed posting day in the week, so I’ll try to pick one and see how it goes!

Continuing from my previous entry, this time I’ll write about the first stop on my trip: New York City. When we were planning this trip with my brother, we found a good deal on tickets from New York to Dubai and, since he was flying from Barbados, it was a good place to meet up and start our journey.

Treasures from a Trip

Hello!

It’s been a long time since my last entry. Actually, a couple of things like working on a new project, moving to a new place, going back to study, spending a few weeks in the Caribbean and even joining a fandom — please refer to two previous entries — kept me really busy for the past few months. Every day felt too short, and I couldn’t really think of anything interesting to write about, so I ended up neglecting this blog for a while.

But recently, there was something that made me feel like writing here again. I went on a trip. After weeks of planning, I packed my backpack and traveled farther than I’ve ever been from home. During a month I visited 5 different countries: USA (New York), the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Singapore, Thailand (Phuket, Chiang Mai, Bangkok) and finally Japan! (Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Hiroshima & Tokyo).

It’s Dope!

Hi there~

I think I’ve found my new favorite song!

Its music video was released the day before yesterday, and it was trending worldwide on Twitter for a few hours. It’s from a Korean band called BTS or Bangtan Boys.

I’d listened to some of their songs before, but this time they really caught my attention because everything was on point: the beat, the dance moves, and the outfits!
